I think the reason why rusty calls himself 8th gen augment is because since he grew up eating meal worms containing coral, and that he's also talented as a ac pilot, he could probably get away with what his skill is. Thus imitating the augmenting process in a much slower way

These theme really captures the horrific industrial nightmare happening planet wide. The first time i heard it it felt like i was finally hearing music congruent to the situation and the world. Because it's right after Ayre made contact with you. It's so beautiful

Its funny that, as someone who played the PS2 armored core games, everything im seeing looks amazing and gorgeous to me when compared to those memories. Meanwhile not-Austin is here like "its meh". The difference perspective and personal experience makes is funny. 😂 (the short missions are there to help pay the bills) Edit: some replies are a little spicey - this comment was a teasing jab, not an attack

Just watched the VaatiVidya preview of these same game parts, as he's kinda a veteran and played since the first game to the last possible available in preparation for the AC6 it's VERY interesting the different approach of someone already in love with the franchise and comfortable with the mechanics of the previous games and SkillUp who kinda have this one the first AC played, it's wildly different

Yeah...I remember the older AC missions being a mix of quite difficult only to enter the next mission and find its incredibly easy. Still, can't wait. I always enjoyed the AC games.

i love the symbolism in this. in one part you can hear what sounds like birds chirping, and also the rest of the soundtrack is just synths, the formal symbolizing raven, and the latter, ayre. not too sure if that's what they were going for, but i still love it either way

AC6 are best enjoyed like MGSV, at first it is overwhelming but you still get by completing each mission, but replaying each mission is where the real gameplay fun begin as you do your best to gain S rank for each mission and slowly absorb the visual worldbuilding you may have missed the 1st time you went through each mission.

Remember dying to it on pc, then I repurchased it and fought it on ps5 for travel purposes. It was like meeting an old friend/rival, no frustration just an epic battle and music!

Man fighting balteus for the first time was a highlight in gaming for me, having mid gear and barely dodging droves of missiles, pumping bullet after bullet after bullet into him and having to get close to do real damage all with this music made the battle feel like a desperate bloody scrape for a win, I’d call it a masterpiece
