It's only a 30 hour game to get through the story unless you are like me and just sat in awe of its beauty at every turn of the camera, or spent time after the cutscenes to take a walk and cry while you leave the game on. I'm at about 90 hours now, given the 60 hours I spent in tears.

the fact that the CEO is ALSO in the video and doing background vocals... shows me the passion AAA studios lack. This game changed me and my friends lives and it's only been out less than a month. I loved Final Fantasy growing up but modern day FF does not live up to this masterpiece. I am forever a FAN!

The writing, the voice acting, and even the foreshadowing after foreshadowing that keeps on coming so natural is all a masterpiece in my opinion. Also I really like how natural conversations feel in this game. It feels so human, and I love it.

I lost my wife 10 years ago; she was 33 years old. I am a classical musician too, and I tried the game and the opening scence when Sofie vanishes in Gustav's arms had burst me into tears... It touches me beautifully and painfully at the same time. Thank you for making such a good game that touches millions of people in the world.

There is not a single soundtrack thats bad, they are ALL masterpieces.. they already feel so nostalgic for me even if the game came out a couple months ago.. This game is my favorite game of ALL time.. huge JRPG fan, gaming over 25+ years.. I'v seen it all.. this is NEXT level and I dont see anything beating this game soon. Also: Une vie à t'aimer is BREATHTAKING.. once I heard that.. best boss music EVER. Put me to fucking tears.. I dont know why but it had so much impact on me its insane.

I'm a 38 year old grown ass man and Sophie's gommage scene gets me every single time and I can't explain why. I'm normally a bit aloof and non emotive, but for some unspeakable reason I tear up every time for that scene, and I can only come to the conclusion that its a combination of music, cinematography, unreal 5 meta human and the fact that they did an excellent job making Sophie likeable in a very short time.

Thank you for this, probably going to send this to my wife who doesn't play these types of games and I tried explaining to her why I was staring at the ceiling in our room while trying to go to bed after finishing the game for the first time (and picked the Maelle ending)
