If you're looking for another strange 3D platformer of this era, try Tonic Trouble. I remember it as a kid, but I have no idea if it was actually any good. lol I'd like to see you cover it. It looks extremely similar to Rayman 2. In fact, it was probably made by the same studio.

I downloaded the game very recently just to relive the old memories and boi, was that a good move. Game is surprisingly hard (i dont remember it being so difficult) but it's still absolutely amazing. I recommend to anyone who feels like having a nostalgic moment. Go for it.

I played this game as a kid, but I was never able to complete it. It was not just the game being hard; somehow this game made me depressed. I don't know why. It's strange to read that I was not alone with this problem. I remember deep sadness when I'm looking at this game.

Personally I fucking love this game, i think since it was on PC it had better controls and more pace. Plus collecting the coloured diamonds and collecting all the gobbo trophys for the secret challenge mode was fun for me when I was younger

You're really not missing much without the secret levels, they're copies of the main hubs but replacing NPCs with Dantinis and each door takes you to a mini level where you get a crystal. Get all crystals and the egg appears in the hub, get all 3 eggs and the game just... cuts to the same fast credits but this time they say "Congrats, it's 100%!". No cutscenes, you almost can't even read the message because of how fast the credits roll, it's kinda hilarious. I gotta say you're like the only one I've seen who gives this series a fairly positive review, I grew up with the first game and even though I know it's flawed it's refreshing to see someone get the good of it out there. Good job!! :D

I remember this game creeping me out at a kid. The weird, boxed in worlds, lifeless enemies and weird musical jiggs mixed together to make me feel uneasy. The weird boxing boss used to give me nightmares. His entire design, to this day, creeps me out.

I bought this game back in 2009 because I absolutely love the first one and never got the chance to play the sequel as a kid. And, well...It's incredibly frustrating and lackluster. I got so angry I threw the disk like a frisbee into the fireplace.

Croc 2! Me and my brother loved this game! Had the PC version. Let's see, I remember liking the music in the second and forth world. We liked the noise the gobbos made. There's a forth world level where you put baby gobbos into cribs and I remember finding the level unsettling. Also, there's this one (jungle?) level where the music sounds like an instrumental of one-hit wonder "Coco Jumbo" by Mr. President. I always thought that was cool.

Anybody know Tom Waits' music? I was literally playing this game when I was 5 years old. Then the other day I was listening to Tom Waits' Swordfishtrombone song (from the album of the same name) and I was a 100000% sure it reminded me of Croc 2 in some way, even though I haven't heard the sountrack in 20 years. I came here to find it and there it is! 0:10:22 5. "Find the Key! Save the Gobbo! 2", I find this incredibly similar in style, choice of instruments and everything else to Tom's "Swordfishtrombone".

Here's my reason for replaying Croc: He is so cuuuute. Such an adorable mascot. If I got this game as a kid I would spend hours on end playing this just to see Croc.

god, that intro took me back to a simpler time. It's a perfect recreation. I even played both this and the original croc video's intro side by side and it synced perfectly well.

Croc has always been one of my favorite games! I grew up playing with my mom on her PS1 and still own it to this day. Glad to see it get recognition!
