Game Track Setting:

I remember hearing stories of people who would religiously play this game, and it got their asses into amazing shape. This game helped to reduce American obesity even if it was a small amount. Thanks Japan.

A local arcade in my town actually featured a DDR Kids cabinet. Funnily enough, it's one of the pictures you used in the video lol I got a chance to play on it when I was 10 or so, but I wasn't into DDR at the time so it was just me being a goof.

The Human Mind is a incredible knowledge base. Just seeing the title screen logo can trigger memories of the entire song list, which also trigger memories of the step chart patterns and feelings of nostalgia

My older brother had two DDR machines in his high school gym. He could take DDR as an elective that also counted as P.E. California, man.

I was a member of a little DDR crew on the Ocean City NJ boardwalk from like 2005-2007. We called ourselves "OC Trinity" because it was started by the 3 best players on that boardwalk. We had little coins that we printed from Jilly's Arcade with our nicknames on them. I was Shadow X. We rolled up like 12 deep and would just take over the DDR and In the Groove (another great one) machines wherever they were in NJ. We would travel 2 hours just to beat some poor kid's high scores. God I miss that shit

I remember the first time I played freckles was actually within the year that I had watched kenshin for the first time.. I thought the timing was too bizarre considering how far apart they were released and how close I experienced both songs! too funny

I highly recommend "Drifting Away" it's one of the best trance songs ever to be made in the 2000's

2When you play the game for the first time, the default song list is enough to get you to play over and over again with fan favorites from Japan you would have never thought would make it over to a USA release. And DDR Extreme well... The interface did not go over well with the fans but the song list kind of feels like a DDR Extreme game minus some JPOP from that release. DDR Extreme 2 redeemed itself with an awesome sound track before they went onto the X series.

Night of Fire was the reason the play disneys rave xD I remember they had a machine in an arcade outside of space mountain years ago. Used to love when we'd go on family vacations to disney world back then because of it.

I didn't realize how outdated this game is (as far as the songs goes), but yet I miss this time of my life. This game is very charming still.
