Elden Ring - Lichdragon Fortissax
Memories:
-
Just became an elden lord for the first time yesterday after 130 hours. This song just hits different now. What a game.

I personally thought mountaintops of the giants was one of the most boring areas Fromsoft ever created. I love all of the souls games, but some of the level design in Elden Ring just felt like you were meant to run past everything.

my most memorable experience in this game is finding the siofra elevator for the first time. i have explored quite a bit at that point and finding it i was like "THERE'S MORE UNDERGROUND???"

Dark souls 1 is a game I would like to experience for the first time again. It was so unique for it's time

Elden Ring is the tip top very tip of the gaming pyramid. What 30 years of game development turned into. What games should be. I literally pray that there are more games like it coming. I started it for the first time not even a month ago and I'm Stunned beyond belief how much it has fully taken over my life and brain. It's literally a life changing game.

just finished the game yesterday for the first time the worst thing about it is that i'll never be able to experience it for the first time ever again

The map continuity and linear exploration of the souls borne games was one of my favorite parts of the game play. Seeing there was a locked door or an inaccecible lift at the start of an area which forced you to explore just to have that AHA moment later that is was an unlockable shortcut to the main boss of the area was a reoccurring epiphany that I craved. Elden Ring diminished this too much with the open world exploration that seemed aimless half the time. I still love the game, but it was a draw back for me for sure

I’ll never forget the goosebumps I got when going down the endless elevator to Siofra River the first time. One of the greatest gaming feelings ever.

when i hear a moment's peace i immediately want to replay ds1. it's my #1 absolute favorite souls game, i love it so much. when i first played the game there was a strange feeling i had that i cant seem to explain but i just enjoyed the game so much no matter how many times i died to a boss. sort of a mix between nostalgia and happiness i guess. and not even elden ring or sekiro can replicate that feeling again. there's just something special about it that i love. i love both the destiny playlist and this one, great job

I'll never forget that I bought Elden Ring because I thought it was a lord of the Rings game

My first ever “Dark Souls” game and it was nothing short of a masterpiece. The final battle was somewhat emotional knowing it was the end of something beautiful. Thank you Elden Ring for reminding me why I play games.

As someone who started playing these games with DkS1 I agree with every single thing you said. This is exactly how I felt. Now that the DLC has been announced I started a new character and try to explore everything and it's fun again. But I don't think I'd touch my original character again by now. Too much stuff I didn't explore in the open world on him and I can't remember what I've seen and what not so it feels discouraging to even go explore.

DUDE about the music, you didn't mention how in Leyndell the trumpets from the round mobs blend with the soundtrack, first time I entered I was blown away by the soundtrack only to find out that the trumpets stopped when I engaged those dudes. but the rest of the soundtrack kept playing...damn...ok I need to make a new character >.<

"Longing" is just such a damn good song. I still get goosebumps every time I hear it. For me, it's still by far the most beautiful song by the Fromsoft composers.

The curse of good memory. Nothing feels the same second time. I can't replay games, i can't rewatch movies, neither read books more than 3 times. I just remember everything: the acts, the dialogue, all the details.

First playthough of Elden Ring made me feel like a kid playing Ocarina of Time for the first time again. I've been playing games for 3 decades, Elden Ring is easily my best gaming experience thus far.

definitely felt like the first time I saw Gwyn, Lord of Cinder just standing there. When Radagon is holding his hammer up in the air and the main theme kicks in, I felt tremendous joy that Elden Ring lived up to the hype and delivered a beautiful experience to the player base.

This was the first FromSoftware game I’ve played, I got it when it first came out and played it for 100+ hours. I got to the end but couldn’t beat radagon so I gave up, I just restarted and picked a different class. My first play through I searched a bunch of stuff up and farmed a lot of runes and didn’t explore as much as I could have. Now that I restarted I’m not really searching anything up and I’m having a lot of fun, not as much as the first time but it’s still fun. Probably my favorite game too.

I was an avid animal crossing player. I saw my husband playing Elden Ring and decided hey, that looks pretty cool...without even knowing how to use WASD key bindings. I am so glad that I learned to play it! It's silly, but I felt such a sense of achievement the first time I beat a boss and now I'm hooked on my second playthrough.
