I love the dialogue Tali and garrus can have in the second game where garrus is just like: „Don't you miss the elevator talks we had?“ and she at some point just goes „I have a shotgun.“

When you wake up from the Citadel Party there is an easy to miss datapad next to the bed. It contains messages from Mordin. It was a very touching little addition, and the last entry made me tear up a little.

This track is so brilliant it hurts... Can you feel those sci fi vibes?? Brilliant! **Edit, 4 years later - Thanks for the likes guys, we've been united by the Legendary Edition to fight for the lost once again!;) *Edit, 7 years later, I am still smitten by these games. They helped me in finding my own moral compass.*

I think andromeda might be worth covering as a sorta "what went wrong?" Kinda video. I remember being actually kinda impressed by the moment to gameplay, but i also remember tye bugs, the wonky facial animation, and saying "this choice makes no fucking sense" on multiple occasions.

Just saw someone make a comment about turning ME into a movie and had a thought. It's amazing how far video games have surpassed movies these days. A 2 hour long movie wouldn't be able to do justice to the emotion, story, universe of Mass Effect. The uniqueness of every individual experience mapped out by each player's choices and their investment in the series. Not to mention the fact that movies are passive entertainment while video games require active participation. Technology has come so far. 20 years ago video games wouldn't be able to hold a candle to any big blockbuster movie. Now the roles are reversed.

Yesss! Thank you so much for making this! This track is seriously one of my favorites of all three games. I think it captures the feeling of the beginning of ME3 so well. It's suspenseful and mysterious and purposeful, and you can feel how much is on the line with this first mission after leaving Earth. The perfect marriage of orchestral instrumentation and synth. Ugh, so good. Gives me chills!

I feel like Mass Effect 3 is the first game where you lose, like every ending is not exactly a happy ending.

Dear Lord, the day has come. The day where our boy Salt will replay one of the greatest creations to have graced us. May this be remembered for years to come!

My favorite part in the entire series is when the entire United fleet comes out of the mass relay towards Earth. It was just… perfect. All the running around to get people to put aside their differences for the greater good, all the crap Shepard had to wade through, and death he had to experience, all culminated in that moment. It brought a tear to my eye, and it still does to this day.

I love this track. It's just so... I can still remember the first time I played through Mass Effect 3 so clearly. The shit with the reapers hits the fan on Earth so fast and then you get to Mars and you think this might be a place you can catch your breath a little bit.... nope. Cerberus is already there, trying to destroy the only chance you have to fix this mess. By the time I got to Mars I was so incredibly sucked in. I paused the game to start upgrading my squad and ended up listening to this loop for... quite a while.

There was a choice. There was no choice. I could have saved them. I couldn't save them. I had their lives in my hands. They all slipped away through my fingers, dripping down into a puddle of blood and madness. Now, I shed my tears in a forest of emptiness and loneliness, waiting for someone to hear my story. Someone who can give my cold, dying heart the warmth of peace.

This game holds a special place in my heart because the first time I heard of it was in a Game Informer article that I read while my dad was teaching me how to make his family's homemade pasta sauce. I literally can not think about this game without thinking of pasta sauce, lol.

My wife played this for the first time last month and was able to make all the correct descisions and have enough reputation to not have Tali or Legion die on her own without me giving her any help or her looking up how to do it online. It makes me think she should go through it again, taking the bad options in order for her to be hurt like I was when I watched Tali jump off a cliff

I don’t want Mass Effect to be a movie. I want it to be a well funded masterpiece of an HBO series.

Masterpiece, it's sounds new and old at the same time. It fits anywhere. It's true perfection.

Seeing Shepard finally break, hurt a lot already since it's sad seeing someone finally reach their breaking point. But then when you hear the voices of your fallen companions, you just get hit so hard with despair. Shepard definitely felt like it was his fault that people are dead.

The first time i played mass effect, i did everything backward Doing noveria, feros, virmire, and finally going to rescue liara, which gave me the scene of her just left stunned about how i did in a week what took her 50 years to figure out.

In regards to the Reapers not going after the Citadel in this game right at the start, you have to realize that while it may have just been a single Reaper, Sovereign got his ass eaten out for lunch in ME1. Coupled with not being able to just relay-hop straight there (read the Prothean scientists’ patch notes from the first game) without attracting too much attention, and them basically coming from the edges inward, it’s entirely believable for the Citadel to be one of the last places to be attacked.

Achingly dark, beautiful...ominous. Just tugs at your heart strings, your soul. Awakens emotions deep inside you didn't realize you had. My ex would listen to this often, he loved the calm. I'll always remember us two holding hands in the car, driving down the highway in the dark, surrounded by these spacy sci fi vibes. Just so perfect <3 Love you always. And will always cherish this trilogy.. <3
