Been a Mega Man fan for over 35 years, and Mega Man 2 was the first game in the series I ever played. Wood Man's stage theme was - and still is - my favorite track from the game.

My anthem for Mega Man 2 is always gonna be Airman. It was the first stage I picked (because for some reason the manual suggested it), and the music caught me immediately. It was the week between Xmas and New Years and I finally got somebody to drive to the local store to spend the money I got for Xmas. I had longed for this game for months. Me and my brothers sat day and night to beat this game - preferably before school started. And we did. So many memories.

My favourite game growing up! The opening alone was so cinematic for an 80’s console. From beginning to end. Everything fit so well. And once you got the hang of it, it was so easy to beat every time. Could do it in thirty minutes flat. The music is what made it so iconic. The ending was so dope too with the changing seasons and colours. The epitome of nostalgia. I had dreams of Mega Man worlds. Most satisfying game ever 🙌

For clarification, the Parabola Gun that they use to fend off Glyde's flagship attack was actually purposefully sabotaged by an inside agent as part of Glyde's attack strategy. I forget who exactly but one of the miners drops hints about the sabotage however unless you're closely paying attention it's easy to miss that detail. Excellent video mate, I played countless hours of both Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 so this was a very nice trip down memory lane!

After a flustered and obnoxiously horrible MM 1 no one could get through I swore off MM games growing up. The second one made me fall in love with them again! The soundtracks of the bosses made these games.... the wood stage made me want to spend time in the forest whenever possible... the bubble/water stage has been to me the most incredible kick ass song ever on a video game.. also definitely love me some air man music... I'm extremely glad the did the MM Anniversary edition for PS2 ... it was well deserved!!

I love how the story ended up very similar to Horizon Zero Dawn. This game is still my absolute favorite because the plot, despite of how much further it could've gone, had me absolutely flabbergasted as a kid. Still replaying both games every couple of years for nostalgia.
