It’s important to remember that there are A LOT of 2D Zelda likes. Just this year we got Under The Island and last year had Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. There are plenty more I don’t have time to mention. But my point is, Mina may have a much higher profile, but it’s not the only one. Hopefully Arlo can look into those.

Got serious chills during the intro letter on my first playthrough of the demo. My mind was already blown by Shovel Knight’s OST being entirely within NES spec. But this being within GBC+SCC spec is unbelievable; the two boss fights in this demo go insanely hard Much like Shovel Knight before it, I have no doubt this is gonna be one of the best indie games (with one of the best OSTs) of the decade

a note he didn't make (Because he said he hasn't finished yet) is after you beat the game you get a New Game Plus where everything is harder, gives more bones, and raises the max level of all your abilities. Each time you go through NG+ it adds round counter, increasing everything more you also unlock a built in randomizer after beating the game for the first time, which also adds a lot of replay ability too

This gives off NES Castlevania meets The Secret of NIMH (If Mrs. Brisby were a brave badass) fusion vibes, as this is such a fun game, despite the full game not releasing until Halloween 2025,as this was the first game I longed to be available on Switch 2 eShop, which I love playing on, despite the low battery (in handheld).

Trust me, this game is INSANELY replayable. Knowledge of the map from previous playthroughs makes it strategic and fun even though you've already had the fun of exploring for the first time

Just came to your most recent upload to say this game rocks. Shovel Knight is one of my all-time favorite games, and it was the first game my 8 year old nephew ever played. I taught him how to play it, and we beat it together. So I decided to come here and say thanks for the memories. Mina is another modern classic. I can't wait to see what you guys do next.

yeah its so compact. I dont remember where this was but there is a spot in Queensbury Crypt that you can dig through and it leads you to an area on the east side of the map and I was genuinely stunned that they where so close and i had no idea.
