I remember reading a comment about the textures in Mirrors Edge. That "clean whiteness look" you see everywhere all over the city was actually supposed to be more darker and gritty look. The devs plastered on the white color first before moving onto the the darker shade until they realized that it actually looked really good with how it already was. A clean city with a dark story.

I still play the game occasionally, and find it great even for a 5-year-old game. I would love a 3rd Mirror's edge game so much. Catalyst is underrated, especially the soundtrack... every track is a work of art. Thanks Solar Fields.

I attended a talk by some of the creators of mirrors edge years ago. Originally they had planned a dirty gritty city like most games use but they accidentally did a light bake without any textures and thought the lighting looked so impressive on it's own they decided to base their entire visual style on it.

I'll never experience this again - but I can relive it in my mind. Listening to this takes me back to a time when everything was so exciting and new. Being here now feels so lonely and sad but at the same time, beautiful and poetic. Truly one of the better games and soundtracks ever made - thanks to (the OG) DICE and Solar Fields.

The first Mirrors Edge was a masterpiece and Catalyst did it even better. Graphics 10/10, Sound/Music 10/10 and the gameplay feels just so real and smooth! 10/10 I can't understand all the hate and bad ratings. I already got 180h and i still love playing it. It's PERFECT!

I have a high quality print from the game framed and hung on my wall (used an expensive photo printer). I still get people asking me what city it is (thinking it is a real photo).

I was in college when this game came out, and I vividly remember being startled by someone coming up to me cosplaying Faith. She handed me a flier advertising the game, and then she ran off. It was a good cosplay, but I thought it was unfortunate that we were in like a grassy field with no parkour opportunities. Then I wondered at how tiring the job had to be, running around like that.

My dad used to work at EA. Tho he worked in the racing division, working on games like Need for Speed and Skate, he always said Mirror’s Edge had a special place in most of the staffs hearts. Truly one of a kind for its time.

mr Solar Fields is simply awesome! I had the luck to listen to his music alongside with aes dana during a live gig in Athens some six or seven years ago, and I must admit it was mind bending! Keep it up man

To this day, the sound of "Still alive" gives me goosebumps. One of my favourite games to this day and has meant a lot to me over the years. Even managed to learn speedrunning for it to finish it just under the hour mark. So much fun
