I fell asleep to this, and had a dream where I actually had more than 2 IRL friends that had rise, and we all had a monster Hunter party in our patio, fire burning, and well-done steak cooking. It was one of the best dreams I've had in a while. :')

Remember that this soundtrack tells a better story than that godforsaken movie.

I honestly wish I could go back to the days where I've played World and Iceborne for the first time, it felt great back then.

I still remember that I had to kill a total of 62 azure Rathalos to get 5 azure wings, to craft just 1 weapon with them. Took me ~15 hours. Imagine all the stuff you can do in 15 hours in World / Rise. Solo'ing Unite as a kid nurtured me to be a patient man.

Man, every time I here the Pokke village I tear up so much because of the fun times I had with my friends back with our psp in hand with drinks and food next to us. Man it is a hit of nostalgia that never gets old

Can't believe monster hunter world has already been out for this long... I remember playing this right around launch and spending ungodly amounts of hours farming for materials. The community, updates, and events were like no other game I've played. I've met some great friends playing this game and I'm very thankful I ended up picking this up when I did. I only wish I could experience this game all over again!

I'm a 3rd fleeter and fell in love with monster hunter in the old style. Then world blew me away and now I'm one of those who just can't go back. I understand why some miss the more complex and pondersome style of the old titles, but for me, the quality of life changes and the intense action of post world monster hunter is straight up crack and I'm hopelessly addicted.

Love the music,(a lot) but I’m mostly just fixated on the thumbnail I genuinely wish there were more monsters that were just really chill with one another, imagine if you could walk into a zone and just see tzitzi napping on top of a namielle, or basarios and gravios underground next to each other, or a ceadeus on the ocean surface belly up with a rath on it (a concept that I weirdly really like is kulu-ya-ku chilling with a fatalis) Edit: man that rise music takes me back, I bought it a few years ago and it was my first monster hunter game, the first game in any series you play is always special

Mhw was my first game and that first experience was one of the best feelings ever. I remember the mystifying experience exploring the ancient forest to my fears of a surprise anjanath that spotted me. I still love running around in the maps.

The reward for clearing every training fight like you mentioned isnt just a guild card unlock but unlocks Fatalis g-rank quest. Which then proceeds to unlock crimson and White fatalis. I was the only one in my group of 3 to grind it out which was annoying cuz the fatalis quests are rotating (plus other conditions) to make then even show up to try. Lot of memories of "sleepovers" staying up till 6 am fighting in our group of 3.

Monster Hunter has always been one of my favourite series after I discovered 3 Ultimate years ago, and I'm glad it's getting the popularity and recognition it deserves in recent years.

Freedom Unite makes you appreciate a lot of quality of life changes in the newer games, but there is something to be said about area variety, monster variety, and the higher demands that the older generations have. Freedom Unite still has some of the coolest and most iconic areas, and back in the day i remember being surprised and excited when high rank quests dropped a whole new set of areas to explore and even more monsters to bash your head against.

This is the perfect background music to look forward to the release of monster hunter wilds. It reminds me of all the good times I've had playing, all the hours of hunting from MH4U to World.

When fight Zorah for the first time and the theme starts playing, I started tearing up, my nostalgia just flooded and overloaded my brain. This series will always have a very special place in my heart and no other games has come close to make me feel like this. Waiting for Rise to drop on PC so I can smack the new roster with my trusty Greatsword. Happy Hunting Hunters!

So this is coming from someone who didn’t get into world until recently and played a bunch of rise and a little bit of mhgu, I think this is the perfect game. Me and my friend played for 2 months straight. We grinded guiding lands to get strong enough for end game, mostly for fatalis and alatreon. Once we were done with pretty much all we could do in endgame we started a new save and we’re attempting to see how fast we can kill fatalis without doing guiding lands. I’m really thankful for world it made me love and appreciate monster hunter and cannot wait for wilds.

I played this game as a kid. Have about 400+ hours into it and never beat the game. Here I am as an adult and I found my old PSP in a closet. It works fine and I have started playing MHFU again. Needless to say, I was quickly reminded how hard but rewarding this game is. Love it though. Gonna grind again till I finally fight a Fatalis and Ukanlos.
