I bought this game back in 1996, and always wondered where the background voices in "Gate of Your Dream" came from. 22 years later, I finally realized -- they're from Home Alone. Most noticeable is Kevin saying "Hello? Helloo-oooo?", Megan saying "Line up and shut up!", and the family cheering when they get to the airport and finding out they didn't miss their flight.

I miss the 90s. You could always count on Amiga Format Coverdisks with Christmas themed Lemmings levels, or a Jazz Jackrabbit xmas level. Nowadays it's all DLC and Season passes and whatnot.

Man, I remember for the longest time, they said they wouldn't do a sequel because NiGHTs was perfect, and they didn't want an inferior sequel to ruin it. Always loved the music! The cameos in Sonic Adventure 1&2 were neat. My friend n I had NiGHTs Chaos. I really miss those days.

Track 14 she had long ears and the boss battle used to scare the sh*t out of me when I was a kid, had my mom pass the level for me because I couldn’t handle the anxiety of pushing that humongous ball of nightmare through the final rooms. Especially when time would run out, haha finally after a year or so I was able to beat it and get over my fear of it and I finally was able to progress in the story, I was very happy 6 year old kid, I’m thankful for having this game introduce me to a whole bunch of Sega! The Sega Saturn was my first console growing up on the 90’s!

I have this game; I got it as an extra in the old American gaming magazine Next Generation I recall, several months before I got my Sega Saturn (which was in Jan. 1997). I still make it a point to play it around Christmastime every year (yep, my first Saturn still plays great!). I recall there's various timed events in the game that will happen (like you'll get Hearts when played on Valentine's Day, or on April Fool's Day you'll play as Reala), but there's another one I recall that I read about many years ago, Where, if you set the system clock to some particular date in the future the sky and lighting will be more purplish; back then, it was referred to as the "Nuclear Winter" theme.

Seriously, I'm in tears. I played this game when I was about 7 or 8, suddenly I remembered this game cause the first time I played was near of christmas, than I came to search for some OSTs... Man, this is so fucking nostalgic, I'm a 25 years old now and I'm crying more than when I was a child :')

literally one of the best games i ever played in my life. the first n second one. i wish this franchise never died but i guess it had to. i hope they dont bring anymore out. i know theyll ruin the whole idea of knights. brings back such good memories of me n my sister n mom tryin to fly around the forest area lol. such a great game.

YOOOOOOOOOO LET'S GOOOOO- Sonic got me into NiGHTS when I was a teen, since they show up in so many Sonic games. The PC port of NiGHTS into Dreams was one of the only games I beat all by myself at the time, so the music is really nostalgic for me even though I was over a decade late, lol

I played Journey of Dreams when I was younger, and it was one of my favorite games. Nights is still one of my favorite characters, and I've always been sad that they never made another sequel. At some point, I really need to go back and play the first one.
