My childhood in one soundtrack. In my summer leave from school I would play Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 all day in my Sony Playstation 1. The fun was ending the career part just to see skaters fail video in the end of the game.

Massive props for putting this together - actually discovered some awesome artists from the iOS version, unfortunately I am 15 years too late as none of them tour anymore, and are fairly unknown. Gives me strong melancholy. Wish I had of heard some of this music when I was younger but alas, the PS1 OG Version still shaped my music tastes to this day. Thanks for this! Edit: Bonus WTF for the random K-POP from the Korean release, so doesn't have the right vibe!

It's crazy to see all these years later the soundtrack is only 51min long. I must have listened to this hundreds and hundreds of times based on how much I played this game as a kid lol These songs must be programmed into my brain by now.

I remember the Tony Hawk games best for starting my love of ska music. It was kind of surreal when the remakes came out and to see bands like Reel Big Fish get some attention again.

I was 10 when this game came out, and holyshit did it open up a whole new world of real music to me. Everything else I heard until that point were kids songs or poppy BS on the radio...the first time I watched the intro of the game while Rage Against the Machine's Guerilla Radio was blaring...it permanently changed my music taste forever. 22 years later, and I'm still blasting these gems

When I was in the army, Me and my roommate in the barracks used to play this game constantly when we were off duty ….he died just a few months after we got it due to a training accident on the range in late 1999. After that I couldn’t play this game or any other game in the series for almost twenty years.
