This game literally blew my mind as a kid. I didn’t know anything could be that fun and the open 3D world was magical. I played it on an emulator in college and still had a blast. Would absolutely LOVE a remake with new assets.

My most fond memories playing this game was back in the fall of 2002. I still remember being bummed out because I was at home sick and sitting down on the couch and feeling the cool breeze come in through the window and eating pop-tarts and playing this game every day.

i miss being a little kid and playing this, running around and playing multiplayer with my siblings. Life was much happier wnd i didn't feel so hopeless and alone like i do now.. Banana Fairy Isle is very nice. It's like a lullaby.

All anyone I've ever heard in real life say about this game is how great it was. When I first heard about all the hate I was like "what? Who hates this game?" I admit I see the flaws, I get the criticism but I don't care it's still one of my favorites.

Thank you for this treasure trove of awesome that rivals even DK's banana horde! Back in the day, I knew my Dad had just gotten a better-paying job when I saw my Mom slip this into a bag just after a trip to Best Buy - expensive new game with the N64 expansion pack AND the official Nintendo strategy guide all SHORTLY AFTER THE RELEASE DATE (!) (She said, "Shhh, you weren't supposed to see this," haha)
