Played this with my cousin yesterday, for the first time in many years, and I forgot how fun this game is. Probably the most fun I've had in years. Playing it definitely gave me some nostalgia especially when we played the City Trial. Definitely one of the best games on the GameCube, its a shame its underrated.

When me and my sister played the game we ran in free run mode. I'd get what I'd call the "Ice cream cart" aka the Wagon star, and would run around the map and pretend to sell ice cream at fixed locations and my sister would try to find me in kind of a hide and seek style thing. When she did we'd run around in a kind of tag style mode and if I got damaged at all we'd switch places. Crazy to see this game again after such a long time. I think my favorite star was the orange star one given it was basically like a discount dragoon due to its ability to get a lot of height and had decent stats. White Kirby was my favorite kirby color too.

THIS GAME this game spawned my immense love for video games I remember being around 6 or 7 inviting my friends over and we'd just go crazy on city ride blowing each other up stealing each other's machines it was so great~ the nostalgia this soundtrack brings back in amazing <3

I loved this game as a kid (mostly the City Trial). I managed to complete the City Trial checklist, but not the ones for Air Ride or Top Ride. PS: Did you know that this game has a sequel for the Switch 2 called Kirby Air Riders?

This game was an urban legend when I was a kid. None of my friends ever had it, I never saw it for sale in stores, it was never available to rent at blockbuster, but it was ALWAYS on the demo systems at electronic stores

Wheelie bike end up being my preferred vehicle in this game, it just felt like the best balance of speed and maneuverability, plus the fact that it just hits things on the ground was a great bonus, I didn't have to worry about timing the boost pads, I just needed to hit them. I will recognize it's flaws of course.

Truly outstanding work, I didn't realize people had the patience to go through all that when I first played the game I couldn't even make it past 5 steps without crashing. Would you believe me if I told you, comedically I don't have a single achievement unlocked...🤣 For the next retro achievement video there are 3 games I would love to see you play. rayman 2 The Munchables <-- Love to see that one first wario world

Omg I used to play this all the time, i absolutely loved this game growing up and it was the first time I found out about Kirby to the point its not only my favorite Nintendo franchise, but Kirby has become my favorite Nintendo character of all time! ❤

This made me break out my Gamecube and play some OG Kirby Air Ride and play some City Trial Though I have def been playing waaaay too much of Kirby Air Riders because in Free Roam playing as Meta Knight, if you die you can’t revive lol. Though flopping on the ground inching along brought back memories

Juice, not sure if you’ll see this, but I remember in your ocarina of time RA video you said that you thought not killing skulltulas should be an achievement. But what if I told you it was? It’s part of the “Bonus” Set. Look up the Deku Tree Extreme Path on RA and tell me what you think.

Getting Kirby Air Ride for my tenth birthday back in 2004 was honestly of the greatest gaming experiences I ever had as a child. The time I spent with the City Trial mode was absolutely unreal. One day, I do hope that Nintendo will just port this game over to the Switch already. Kirby Air Ride absolutely deserves another chance. But this time, It needs to be in the spotlight.

i remember when i did the 3 sushi plates, i was struggling and getting frustrated. after a while i did it though, but a few games later i got the event where the castle stash opened, and it was all sushi. i was very frustrated
