Float island always does it for me. I would play this game while my family drove down to South Florida to see my grandmother. My parents HATED hearing my Gameboy music so they got me headphones. The bassline of float island always makes me think of warm weather, palm trees and my sweet sweet Gran, rest in peace granny, still thinking of you and all the good times we had together.

This soundtrack has some absolute bops my god. Such a driving rhythm in almost all of the songs. I played this game when I was a kid and got all the rainbow drops to fight the big bad enemy at the end. How did they fit so much sounds and colors onto a tiny cartridge?

Thanks for sharing. I just played this game for the first time on the Snes classic, I've never played a Kirby game before it was strange to look at, at first and it took me a little while to figure out what the game was about and how to play it but once I did man I was hooked there's a ton of play time I've invested here. Replaying the courses and trying to beat my personal best.

For some reason, for YEARS, I thought that the track from Castle Lololo was from Battle of Olympus for the NES, so for years and years, since I was a kid, I've been humming the Lololo theme in my head, until a few years ago I decided to look up the Battle of Olympus soundtrack and could not find the track. I was so sure that that track was from that game, until yesterday, I heard it in a cover of Green Greens that YamaYama did, and my mind was blown. Thankfully, I've finally found that song, and I still am not sure how I mixed those two up, as I don't remember if I had Kirby's Dream Land back then.
