I am a lifelong fan of Metroid, my first experience being Super Metroid when I was a child, watching my father explore the depths of Zebes. It is a franchise very near and dear to my heart. I have seen so many videos about Samus' Adventures, and I am confident in saying the following: This is easily the best and most comprehensive video explaining Samus Lore, as well as the real world details that surround the franchise. 10/10, Make Mentoks Hair an enemy in the next Metroid game. Absolutely Well done! See you Next Mission!

I first played metroid prime when I was 4 years old. I've religiously bought and played the hell out of every Metroid game. Since Metroid Prime 3, I've learned to drive, had 2 children, bought a house, got a job and got various promotions. Booting up prime 4 brought tears to my eyes; hundreds of hours of nostalgia wandering Aether and Tallon IV on a tiny CRT television flooded back all at once... then I played it. I feel so empty and wounded from playing this game. I'd rather they left prime to die with dignity than resurrect it with no soul. What a spit in the face this turned out to be.

Sometimes I wonder how I ever became a Metroid fan.. born in 2005, I missed its hayday by far.. but I got to play the first Prime game when I was like 7 on my dads old GameCube, and ever since then I’ve been hooked. I just hope it gets good again, with Dread and Prime 4 recently

The tedium of the crystal hunt felt like it was programmed by people who had never developed/played a game before and didn’t even have the basic common sense to consider how certain features might suck. They clearly had to have referenced the original games yet insisted otherwise about learning from them. All that said, FUCK YES A FELLOW XELIOS FAN!!!! You captured my love for Xelios as a boss perfectly. Bosses like Keratos and Omega Griever were just generic button mashing sequences but Xelios had a hectic energy to it that was compelling as hell.

I think of all helmets and visors and armor suit designs in all of gaming, I really really adore the Galactic Federation trooper aesthetic, particularly seeing what happened to all of the fallen Squad Bravo members is what sticks with me, but the blue visor on silver armor is so dope. Samus' armor is obviously legendary, but as far as cool looking regular military police dudes Metroid has the coolest. The writing of Echoes is so fire that I still have some of those Trooper Logs in the world memorized from childhood. What an amazing series.

Metroid Prime 4 really just copied Tabora Desert from Ratchet & Clank and somehow did it worse than a PS2 game from 23 years ago while also making it mandatory to interact with.

I can remember first playing this as a kid and being scared shitless of the security turrets on the Space Pirate Frigate right at the start. It'd always be pretty neat to go back in time and experience these games all over again.

Trilogy on the Wii is my favorite game for the system. I remember getting it for my 13th Birthday, and playing the hell out of each game for months. The music of the trilogy adds to each games breathtaking atmospheres, and add a lot of nostalgia for me.

The feelings this game manages to convey are nothing short of amazing, especially if you consider it has nearly zero dialogue. I don't know about you guys, but every single time I play this I feel like it's actually me who's there and not Samus, probably because she never says anything and you're basically the only living human being exploring these alien planets. It's scary and exciting at the same time. I first played Prime 1 when I was 15, that was nearly nine years ago, and since then I've developed this habit of playing the trilogy at least once a year.
