The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Zelda's Lullaby
Memories:

The beauty in OOT is how the story means one thing when you play it as a kid, and an entirely different thing when playing it as an adult… much like the time jump in the game itself

I actually have to disagree regarding that there has never been another character like Groose in a Zelda game. Nobody seems to remember Linebeck from Phantom Hourglass, which makes sense because this game has a lot of flaws and the majority didn't play it. Linebeck is this shady Captain who has a boat and follows you on your adventure. At first you don't trust him because he lies to you, is an absolute coward and money is the only thing important to him. Over time he begins to become a better person and in the end, when all of this come full circle, it's a really powerful moment. He also has the funniest cutscenes with Link ever! I wish more people would know about him Edit: fixed spelling

It's funny how this ost is 6 hrs long. It goes to show just how long the game itself is too. I look back fondly on running Zelda's errands even after being reunited w/her, aswell as Fi reminding me my motion plus remote is running low on battery, lmao. I think the best track(s) is Groose's theme due to how it's an evolution from goofy ah to reverence and respect. Best character 2nd to none, and one of the best Wii games period.

I don't understand why this soundtrack is so underrated. It's gorgeous and is just so magical and whimsical it never fails to give me goosebumps

I remember the backlash SS got after it came out. I chalked it up to the internet mob feeding off of each other. I played through the full game when it came out, and I really enjoyed it, but unlike other 3D Zelda games, I didn't replay it a bunch because apart from certain moments, it didn't compel me to come back to it. I recently started playing it again after 12 years and I've gotta say, it held up.

Tears of the Kingdom is brought down by how much I hear them say Secret Stone. Call it a Spirit Gem or something

Came for the demon sword boy, stayed for the demon sword boy, cried over the fate of the demon sword boy, now dedicate my fangirl power to spread positivity for the demon sword boy. ♦️🌈 Sleep well, Ghirahim. May your heart be truly filled with rainbows, may you be liberated from the cruel abuse of your master, and may Nintendo rue the day they so selfishly allowed your character to be brutalized in Hyrule Warriors. 1:35:28 Best theme of best boy.

The reason why I remember this game is its unique soundtrack, by far the best one in the saga

i had no idea this game was disliked and the controls hated until years later. Really glad you mentioned about younger people potentially falling in with popular opinion. It seems so common now.

You nailed why I love Majora's Mask. I felt compelled emotionally to save NPCs because they felt like real people. Real fears, hopes, and dreams. The game literally helped me learn how to empathize with people better. It's darker, but all the more rewarding if I can help NPCs I normally wouldn't care all that much about.

48:20 I actually DID miss this shot, but it led to one of my favorite moments in the entire game. The air geyser in the center of the map is usually plugged by the seal stone, and activates towards the end of the battle. I missed and knew I wouldn't be able to make it up to the top in time, so I headed for that, rode it all the way up, skydived down onto the Imprisoned's head, and took him out that way. It was awesome.

This game feels so beautiful now to look back to, since nowadays games from big companies like nintendo lack the same amount of passion and love that was given to games like these. The music, the story, animation. Everything was perfect then and still is. I really really miss this era of games

I remember it being this good :D I was listening to it all the time using the CD that came with my copy of the game. I think it's the best music in the franchise with it being orchestrated.

Skyward sword was one of my first Zelda games To this day is my favourite Zelda game Always replay it a few times a year The parts I love the most is the look of the world, the story, making the master sword and the bosses especially Girahim and demise It had issues on the Wii but anyone who did have issues with it should try the switch version Motion controls vastly better and the actual controller version is still very good

TOTK could have had the best story in the franchise imo if they just... added more story events. Give us 4 more dungeons after Ganondorf powers up to portray him as more of a threat, give us more character moments with everybody aside from the memories, give us more context into the Zonai rather than just their vague existence in the actual game. There's definitely the potential there, but they just don't freaking utilize it...

This is probably the best Skyward Sword review I’ve seen on YouTube. I’m in the same boat as you, this was my first Zelda and I have great memories of this game, but it’s impossible to ignore its flaws. However a lot of people either let the flaws overshadow the great moments like the dungeons & characters (the Groose is loose!) or they try to justify all of the bad elements like Fi & the backtracking. I think for me personally the high points & nostalgic memories will always make this one of my favorite Zeldas, but this really does represent the best & worst of the series. Also I like the tadtones so hah my opinion is invalid!

Quick question, did you have other sound tracks posted on your account even just a few days ago? I can't remember if it was you because the twilight Princess one I like was taken down within the past week

I’m not much of a gamer, but grew up with Mario and Zelda so recently bought the Switch and played Skyward Sword without reading any reviews etc. I really enjoyed it.

My favorite still Twilight Princess, it's the most epic Zelda story by far in my opinion. It's akin to something like the Lord of the Rings for me, a grand story about heroes who fight a great evil that is slowly taking the world for himself, and only by the acts of true good the evil is put at bay, through the collaboration of all species they can win this great war, and save their land. A story about friendship, bravery, duty, and redemption, that no other Zelda did. This truly felt like a epic legend about the adventures of a mythical hero, and that's what I love in Zelda the most. (Not to mention that the final battle is simply amazing)

I only now, years later, realise that Groose's clothes are an upside down bomb flower... I played this game when it was new. Let's add this to the list of obvious things i missed as a kid
