TP is my all time favorite, it's such a melancholic and philosophical and eternal zelda game. You have the best partner in the world, with a relationship that almost becomes romantic. Imagine how lonely TP would be without midna, if it was link alone. Midna and Link together made the adventure so much more fun and cozy in a very lonely world.. you felt like you really had to win and survive, not for Hyrule but for them. But, why does no one ever mention Minish Cap? That zelda game is my 3rd favorite 😭 It has one of the best villains, namely vaati 😭

I definitely found myself genuinely caring about these characters. I remember racing as fast as I could to save midna, not because I just wanted to do it quickly, but because I had this real panic and fear for midna. Like I forgot that I was playing a game. I cared about this little blob of pixels.

When I was a young kid I played this game but didn't have the video game savvy to realize I had to summon the hawk. So I spent tens of hours in the first part of the game walking around Ordon Village and minding my own business like I was any other resident. Definitely the most odd and unremarkable video game experience I've ever had. I have no idea why I spent so much time on it.

I was so scared first time defeating the Yeti-Boss, because usually Bosses drop a heart container indicating they died, but instead, I was relieved to see the heart container is produced by their love and they remain both alive. The thought of murdering one of the friendly Yetis at their home was one of the most horrofying elements throughout the game, despite a lot of other dark games. The eerie atmopshere of the dungeon just added to that something horrible might happen at the end. But it turns out all right.

My biggest gripe with TP will always be that the enemy music interrupts Midna’s Lament during that section. I was so pissed when they didn’t fix that in the remake ngl

I swear this game is the most dreamy and odd game Ive ever played. I remember playing it when I was 14. I got it on the wii, and I played it during winter. I felt to isolated playing that game. Isolated from the world because it was winter and isolated in a video game, at the most depressing time in my life when my parents were going through problems. And it just is INGRAINED into my head as just a WEIRD GAME I played at a very WEIRD time in my life. One of my favorite games of all time by far.

I really like this game. I wish they would make more like two. i mean, i do like the newer games, but this one takes me back to the countless number of dying Nostalgia. Love it

twilight princess always felt like it had huge, lord of the rings esque ambitions that translated super awkwardly onto a gamecube dev kit. It feels like they really strained against the limitations instead of working with them like they usually do, but it just adds to the incredibly stank vibes of the entire game and makes it super intriguing and memorable imo.

I love that in every Twilight Princess retrospective I listen too, every single creator concludes their introduction by turning up the volume at the end of the TP theme and gives us a few seconds to just sit there and listen. The nostalgia and goosebumps I get everytime I listen to a retrospective are unlike anything else

My son bought this game to his Wii console a couple of years ago. He was born in the 90's. We rediscovered the Zelda Universe and this game that he hadn't played before. We bought other Zelda games to his new Wii console that he used to play when he was a kid on his Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. Zelda brings Nostalgia! These game dudes make a a real good job🌟🌟🌟Thank you Nintendo for letting us enter in this dreamworld!🎮🎭 Iuse to put on Zelda music to relax and sleep to🦄🏇🎶🌟

I love the way you look at the actual spaces in games. Most people have a very utilitarian aproach to the spaces in games, except for places where the intended purpose is exactly to marvel at a vista. But I really identify with how you really seem to savor every single nook and cranny. I didn't grow up with Zelda but I remember doing this in some of the games I played, just finding an unremarkable corner that someone had to model and taking in the vibes. I feel like I did this a lot in Soul Reaver 2.

There is a small feature that I love where if you put your sword away at the right time after a battle, Link will do a little flourish when he sheaths it to go along with the victory fanfare. I still try to time my "Put Away" action when I'm playing TotK, and still get disappointed

Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game I EVER played and my goodness… I fell in love with the game immediately. It just absolutely blew my mind. The open world, the characters, the terrifying enemies and incredible story line that had me hooked from the very beginning… It will always have a special place in my heart. I’m devastated that I don’t have my Wii anymore, so I can’t even replay the masterpiece of a game 😭

I remember hearing of people trying to find the beta forest and such. It made me really look at all the odd cliffs and ends you could reach in this. Something about opening up and going to the oddest out of the way places in this game just hits different it feels more special and tucked away.

Just yesterday I was making a list of my favorite games ever and shared it with a friend, he asked me why I picked Twilight Princess over Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. I said that although both games are addictive and fun to get lost, I love the whole atmosphere in TP, the OST, Link's role in this Hyrule and the overall experience after all, it's the game that made me finally fall in love with the series.
